7 Nights in Belek: 3, 4 or 5 Rounds of Golf?

How many rounds should you book for a week in Belek? Compare 3, 4 and 5-round itineraries, course choices and the time to leave for the rest of your holiday.

The quick read

What to know

  • Three rounds leave more free days, four offer a middle ground, and five make golf the focus of the week. Choose around the holiday you want, not just the largest number on a package.
  • Seven nights need not mean seven full playing days. In an arrival-on-day-one, departure-on-day-eight itinerary, there are six full days between the travel days.
  • Read the named courses as carefully as the round count: five rounds can mean five visits to the same course. Confirm tee times and inclusions in your written proposal.

Picture the middle of your Belek holiday: would you rather be heading out for another round, taking a slow breakfast with your partner, or spending the day away from the resort? That answer is a useful place to start when choosing how much golf to book.

For a seven-night stay, three rounds leave generous space between games; four are a useful starting point for a mixed golf-and-hotel week; five suit a trip built mainly around playing. None is the right number for everyone. Think about how often you normally play, who is travelling with you and what you would regret missing.

Start with full days, not hotel nights

In the example below, you arrive on day one and leave on day eight. That gives you six full days, days two to seven, before you consider golf on either travel day. A late arrival or early departure is a poor foundation for an extra round.

Check flight times, airport transfers, hotel arrangements and the club's required arrival time before asking for a travel-day tee time. Keep that round separate from the core plan until the timing works.

Three ways to arrange a seven-night golf holiday

These are illustrative patterns, not available tee times or fixed package schedules. Arrival and departure are kept free, with one round on each playing day. The order should follow the tee times and courses your booking can actually secure.

5Days 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7Day 5Playing is the main reason for the trip and consecutive golf days appeal.

Three rounds: leave something in the diary unbooked

Three rounds can make sense for a couple with different interests, a first golf holiday or anyone who enjoys a day between games. It also leaves space for a lesson without trying to fit a coaching session and a full round into the same day.

A day without a booked round does not have to become another organised activity. It can simply be time to enjoy the hotel you chose. If you do want to go out, plan the outing around the golf schedule rather than assuming every tee time will be early.

Four rounds: a useful starting point for the conversation

Four rounds give you more playing time while keeping two full days clear in this example. Try marking your must-play courses first, then see where a break would be most welcome. One pair of consecutive golf days may fit better than putting all four together.

For a group, ask each person how many rounds they want before choosing the package. An extra round that one golfer sees as the highlight may be the day another person hoped to spend with their partner. Discuss that difference before comparing prices.

Five rounds: make the whole week work for golf

Five rounds fill five of the six full days in our example. That can be an appealing golf-focused week, but it leaves less room to move other plans around. Consecutive playing days should be a choice everyone is comfortable with.

Decide whether you want variety or another chance at a course you enjoyed. Neither is inherently better, but they create different trips. Also consider your preferred tee times: an afternoon round occupies the day differently from an early start, particularly when there is a transfer.

More rounds do not necessarily mean more courses

Read the course allocation rather than inferring it from the hotel name. When checked on 25 October 2026, Alexa Golf's seven-night Gloria Golf Resort three-round listing named one round at Carya and two at Cornelia Faldo. The seven-night Cullinan Belek four-round Aspendos listing named four rounds at Cullinan Links Aspendos. The seven-night Sueno Deluxe five-round listing named five rounds at Sueno Dunes.

These are examples of different allocations, not three interchangeable upgrades at the same hotel. They do not establish availability for your travel dates. Follow the current listing and have the hotel, courses, dates and inclusions confirmed together in your written proposal.

Allow for the whole golf day

A tee time is the start of the round, not the start of the outing. Allow separately for pickup, check-in, practice and the return journey. Avoid promising the rest of your party a precise lunch or sightseeing time based only on the tee time.

The R&A's Pace of Play Manual explains that course design and setup affect how long a round takes. It also encourages tees suited to a player's ability and hitting distance. A single universal round duration is therefore a weak basis for planning every course on your itinerary.

Compare the same holiday before comparing the price

A three-round quote at one hotel and a five-round quote at another differ in more than golf. Ask for the room, board basis, dates and named courses alongside the total. An extra round's value depends on whether you actually want to play it.

  • List each golfer and the rounds they want; identify any non-golfing travellers.
  • Check which airport and golf transfers are included, and whether the named courses require a shuttle or a separate transfer.
  • Ask about buggy or trolley hire, club hire and practice costs where relevant; do not assume they are included in the round count.
  • If you may add or change a round, ask about availability, the price and the applicable change terms before relying on that option.

Tell us what you want the week to feel like

Send your seven-night travel dates, number of golfers and non-golfers, preferred three, four or five rounds, and any must-play courses. Include flight times if known and say which days or tee-time windows are flexible.

That gives our team a useful brief for comparing suitable options. You can then choose the programme that fits the people travelling, with the final course allocation, tee times and inclusions confirmed before booking.

Common questions

How many rounds should I book for seven nights in Belek?

Three rounds leave more full days for the hotel or other activities, four are a useful middle ground, and five make golf the focus. Use your normal playing rhythm, travel times and companions' plans to choose. In an arrival-on-day-one, departure-on-day-eight example, you have six full days between the travel days.

Can I book three rounds and add another when I arrive?

You can ask, but an extra round depends on availability, price and the booking terms. Do not assume a preferred course or tee time will still be available. If a fourth or fifth round matters to you, request it while the main itinerary is being arranged.

Can people in the same group book different numbers of rounds?

Ask for each person's preferred allocation when requesting the quote. Whether mixed allocations are possible, and how they affect the total price or any group offer, depends on the package and its conditions. Have those arrangements confirmed in writing.
