Belek Golf Holiday Planning Guide

A practical checklist for planning a Belek golf holiday: hotels, courses, green fees, tee times, transfers and what to put in a quote request.

Plan your hotel, rounds and transfers together so the daily schedule works for everyone travelling. This guide covers the main choices for couples, golf societies and groups with both golfers and non-golfers.

When to start planning

Start with dates and group size, then choose the hotel and courses. Enquire early if your group needs several rooms or consecutive tee times. If flights are already booked, include them so we can allow enough time between your arrival and first round.

Our seasonal guide covers the main considerations for winter, spring and autumn trips.

Choosing the right golf hotel

Consider how much golf you want to play and what the rest of the group would like to do. A course on the hotel grounds or nearby keeps travel simple. For golfers and non-golfers travelling together, compare the rooms, beach, dining and spa facilities as well as access to golf.

Gloria Golf Resort, Gloria Verde Resort and Gloria Serenity Resort are separate hotels, with a complimentary shuttle between them and golf at Gloria Golf Club. Maxx Royal has Montgomerie on the resort grounds, while Kempinski Hotel The Dome is beside The Pasha and PGA Sultan. For hotels such as Papillon Ayscha, Papillon Zeugma and Crystal Tat Beach, include course transfers in your plans.

Matching courses to the group

Choose courses to suit the group’s experience and preferred pace. You might combine Montgomerie, PGA Sultan, Carya or Gloria Old with shorter rounds or rest days. Night golf at selected clubs is another option to discuss when requesting tee times.

Include handicaps and any preferences for shorter rounds or buggy use in your enquiry. If you would like to play nine holes, ask about the available courses and times rather than assuming a shorter round is included in an 18-hole package.

Comparing green fees and packages

A green fee covers a round of golf; a package combines accommodation with the golf and services listed in that offer. Compare the number of nights, room type, board basis, named courses and transfer inclusions. Each listed price applies to a stated travel period.

Where no price is listed for your stay, request a quote with your dates and group details. Our team will check the available options.

Tee times and transfer planning

Ask for tee times as part of your quote, and check which are confirmed before finalising travel arrangements. Leave time for the journey, check-in and a warm-up before each round.

For airport transfers, count golf bags as well as passengers and suitcases. For golf days, check whether the hotel shuttle serves your chosen course or a separate transfer is needed.

What to include in a quote request

Include your dates, number of golfers and non-golfers, preferred hotels and courses, board basis and room requirements. Add flight details if you have them. Mention accessible or connecting rooms, buggy needs and any group-offer enquiry. A little date flexibility can help when matching rooms and tee times.

Group golf holiday checklist

Choose an organiser and agree the headcount, playing days and room requirements. Count golf bags, note any mobility needs and decide whether to play one club or several. Keep the rooming list and tee-time changes in one email thread.

Review the hotel, board basis, room category, rounds, named courses, transfers and dates in the proposal. Ask about anything marked “to be confirmed” before accepting the arrangements.

Weather, season and course condition

Allow for summer heat, shorter winter days and rain when planning your rounds. Course maintenance can also affect your choice of dates. Ask our team to check the club’s maintenance notice for your week if this is important to your group.

Before you book

Before booking, review your written confirmation: hotel, board basis, rooms, courses, tee times and transfers. Check any arrangements still awaiting confirmation, along with seasonal facilities or dining options that matter to your group.
