Night Golf in Belek: Five Courses for Floodlit Golf

Night golf can change the rhythm of a Belek holiday. Instead of making every resort day revolve around a morning tee time, a golfer can consider an evening round and leave part of the day free. The essential booking detail is the course's lighting coverage. A course offering night golf does not necessarily have all 18 holes illuminated, and a late tee time is not automatically a night-golf booking.

Club information checked on 28 October 2026 gives five options to explore: Carya and Cullinan Links for 18 floodlit holes, plus National, Gloria New and Montgomerie for an illuminated back nine. The numbers describe lighting coverage, not the total number of holes at each golf complex. Availability, operating hours and the round offered on your travel date still need confirmation.

Carya and Cullinan: planning 18 holes under lights

Carya’s official floodlight page describes lighting across all 18 holes. That makes it a useful starting point when a complete evening round is the priority. Request the floodlit product and the preferred playing date together; the presence of lights does not mean every late start is available.

Cullinan Links lists both 18- and nine-hole floodlit rounds. Its terms, checked on 28 October 2026, require at least eight golfers and check-in one hour before play. Smaller parties should ask what arrangement is possible.

Those terms also limit the complimentary food and beverage menu to 18:00. Confirm evening dining and buggy inclusions separately. The 18 floodlit holes should not be confused with all 36 holes at the complex.

National, Gloria New and Montgomerie: an evening nine

National’s official announcement confirms that its night-golf experience has been extended to the final nine holes of its championship course. Its current green-fee page also lists a nine-hole floodlight product. Older references to a shorter illuminated layout do not describe that current announcement.

Gloria’s official After Dark launch announcement identifies the illuminated final nine of the New Course. That detail matters because Gloria also has a separate nine-hole Verde Course. “Gloria, nine holes at night” is not enough information to identify the intended booking: ask for New Course floodlit play.

Montgomerie Maxx Royal explicitly identifies holes 10–18 as floodlit. A shorter round can fit around a resort day, but an 18-hole booking is a separate question. At these venues, do not assume the unlit nine can be played after sunset or that repeating the lit nine is permitted.

Group conditions can also depend on the offer. Gloria Serenity’s Golf in Winter brochure for 23 November 2026–31 March 2027 lists nine-hole night golf after 18:00 with at least eight participants and an additional charge. Those are the conditions of that winter offer, not a universal timetable or an inclusion in every Gloria package.

Why twilight and floodlit golf are different

Twilight usually describes a late-day booking or rate. It tells a player something about timing, but not enough about the playing conditions. If a course has no suitable lighting, sunset remains a practical limit. Ask the club how its twilight product works, whether it is for a set number of holes and what happens if the round is unfinished. Do not budget for 18 holes simply because the first tee time falls before sunset.

Floodlit golf relies on the club operating its lighting system for the booked holes. It should be requested explicitly. At a venue with only one illuminated nine, an 18-hole arrangement could depend on playing the other nine in daylight, if the club offers that sequence. That is something to confirm, not an itinerary to construct from the words 'night golf' on a price list.

Plan the whole evening, including the way home

Work backwards from dinner plans and the return journey. Tell the organiser the number of golfers, the preferred date and whether anyone is joining at the clubhouse. A transfer that works for a normal daytime round may need a different collection time in the evening. The hotel restaurant, clubhouse kitchen, practice facilities and golf-bag storage can also have different operating hours.

Leave breathing room if the next morning includes another early round or a flight. Night golf is most useful when it adds variety to the holiday, rather than making two consecutive days exhausting. For a mixed group, a shorter evening round may be a better fit than trying to maximise the number of holes every day.

Preparing for a first round under lights

Give yourself time at the club before the start. If the practice areas are open, use them to settle into the surroundings and check your distance references. Carry a suitable layer for the evening conditions and keep a spare ball readily accessible. Watching each other's shots is useful at any time of day, particularly when playing an unfamiliar layout.

Choose tees that suit your normal carry distances, and ask the starter about the route between holes. Follow the club's instructions around lighting equipment and paths. A floodlight pole near the ball is a rules question for the course's current Local Rules, not a reason to invent relief. Build night golf into the right package

When comparing offers, keep the same course, date, hole count and included services on each side of the comparison. A daylight round in a package should not be assumed interchangeable with a floodlit round. Ask for the evening option at the quotation stage so accommodation, golf and transfers can be planned together.
